The Beauty of Life's Seasons

I hope you all had a great weekend, found time to connect with your people, and to breathe deep and be refreshed in the Lord.

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of capturing this sweet maternity session. While editing the photos and watching our young grandchildren, I started thinking about the seasons of life.

🦋My husband and I are at that stage of nearly empty-nesters, with only one older teen left at home. 🦋My grown kids are building families and legacies and getting up at night with young ones, and potty training. 🦋My grandkids are learning how to navigate this new crazy world, how to read, how to talk, walk, and roll over.

Stages, seasons of life. Some seem to go on forever (as any young parent will attest), and others seem to change daily (grandparents watching their grandkids change -- how quickly does that go?!).

🦋 So, what stage of life are you in, or entering?

Are you where you'd hoped you'd be at this time and place?

If yes, is there anything you would still change?

What will happen if you don't do anything to make that change?

Are you at a place where you long for, and need, change?

If yes, what needs to change?

What will happen if you don't do anything to make a change?

Have you considered the consequences of NOT doing anything?

I got to the place where change was desperately needed in this stage of life. I had been a drain on our family resources due to chronic illness and in the process had completely lost my sense of purpose.

Here are some steps I took to get my life and purpose back. 1. Time with God. My brain fog was such that I couldn't really understand what I was reading, but listening to worship music, and the audio Bible helped until my health improved. 2. Taking nutraceuticals that actually nourished my brain and slowly getting off the pharmaceuticals. Huge difference here. 3. Exercise - since my issues had damaged my lungs, I did what I could - something was better than nothing. 4. Found an online opportunity with incredible timing and products and a foundation focused on faith and family, and stepped into it. 5. Through that opportunity, I began working on my mental game, "Taking every thought captive unto Christ." I realized that my thoughts had become negative and toxic towards life, but mainly towards myself! That had to change. I started to replace those negative thoughts with positive ones. 6. I met other like-minded women who have become incredible friends, encouragers, and mentors. 7. I have determined to become the leader God is calling me to be, which means constantly seeking Him and learning while serving.

I am now passionate about helping other women step into a new opportunity and grow. I want to empower YOU to change your life for the better, no matter the season or your age. We have women on our team from their 20s into their 70s who've made the decision to take that step ~ we're ready for you!

You may not be in that spring or summer stage of life anymore, but like me, more in the autumn phase of life. I'm am in awe of the incredibly beautiful time of life it is, and can be for you too!

If you're ready to take that first step, send me a message and let's get started. Blessings!

Lisa
