Wanting to Age Backwards Or At Least A Bit More Gracefully?

Aging. Growing old. Fading. Past your prime. Obsolete. Middle-age. Retired. I'm not big on most of those words. They remind me that the clock is constantly moving forward but there is still so much I want to do and accomplish. Still so many people I want to love on and watch grow.

No, I might not like the words, but I can appreciate that I am here - that I have made it to this place in life when my husband and I had doubts about my own survival (see past blogs or my website LisaCBaird for my story), and when so many others' lives are cut short. So instead of bemoaning the fact of growing older, I am rejoicing in it. But, just because I am so thankful to be here, doesn't mean I want to feel old, or look older than my years. What to do?

There are several things to help us slow down the aging process. If you, like me had to deal with medical Menopause, or are entering peri, or full-blown menopause, you know what a challenging time it is for most of us, with symptoms ranging from hot flashes and mood swings to hormonal imbalances and skin changes. I'm going to talk about one item that made such a difference for me!

If you're going through menopause and struggling, medical-grade liquid collagen can be a huge part of the solution. My skin experienced a dramatic improvement within two weeks of starting the collagen - and I had already been taking/trying a variety of collagen for several years! I didn't see or feel a difference--until I tried this!

One of the key benefits of liquid collagen is its ability to help regulate hormones. During menopause, estrogen levels drop, leading to a range of unpleasant symptoms. However, liquid collagen contains important hormones and nutrients that can help balance your body's hormones and relieve these symptoms. And since it's medical grade, it has an extremely high absorption (especially compared to other collagens!) and is pure. All good things.

Hate the way your skin is reacting to peri-menopause or menopause? Besides regulating hormones, liquid collagen also has a positive impact on your skin. As you age and go through menopause, your skin can become dull and saggy due to hormonal changes and decreased collagen production. But liquid collagen is rich in collagen, a protein that helps maintain skin elasticity and firmness. By incorporating liquid collagen into your routine, you can help improve your skin's texture and appearance and regain a youthful glow.

Is joint pain also becoming a thing? Do your joints creak and crack when you roll out of bed? Do they just ache? Liquid collagen has been shown to have a positive effect on joint health. As you age and go through menopause, joint pain, and stiffness can become major issues. However, liquid collagen can help reduce joint pain and improve mobility, allowing you to stay active and feel better. Lymes disease had me in pain. My bones and joints just hurt, most of the time. Now, I hop out of bed in the morning--pain-free. I hear so many others my age and younger complaining about joint pain, but it's not my story anymore.

Medical-grade liquid collagen can be an incredibly beneficial supplement for women going through, or in menopause. By regulating hormones, improving skin health, and reducing joint pain, it can help us look and feel our best, helping us age gracefully, and live life to the fullest!

These photos just show some of the external benefits -- but internally it's doing an incredible job at keeping the body working well and holding everything in place!

Blessings friends!

Lisa
